Preheating
Preheating (preheat) and postweld heat treatment (PWHT) of pipework and equipment according to Company, Quality, and Client standards should be performed and overseen according to recorder strip charts for documenting temperature charts as part of a weld package, set up, calibrated leads to PWHT equipment, documented processes using recorder strip charts that record temperatures, soak times, rise and fall rates and document troubleshooting procedures as necessary.
